Kepyil
For parents

Your child’s yearbook, with your consent.

Students under 18 can’t write and don’t appear in the yearbook until a parent has consented. Consent takes a few minutes, you don’t need to download the app, and you give each permission separately.

Consent

What are you consenting to?

  • Processing of personal data (required). Your child’s name, class and messages are used to make the yearbook.
  • Storing data abroad (required). The servers are in the European Union, in Frankfurt.
  • Photo (optional). If you don’t give it, your child’s page shows their initials instead of a photo.
  • AI message moderation (optional). Messages are checked for inappropriate content with names removed. If you don’t give it, only rule-based checks and teacher approval apply.

You can withdraw your consent at any time. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Under 13

A parent uses the yearbook for younger children.

Consent when joining

On the class link you choose “For my child”, or on an invite code you tap “I’m the parent”. You give your consent in the same step, and your child’s place opens right away.

Write together

You write the messages together with your child, and the page is printed under your child’s name. For twins or siblings you switch between the children with one tap.

Frequently asked

Common questions

How do I give parent consent?

The teacher or your child sends you a consent link. You open it, read the texts and give each consent separately. You don’t need to download the app; your consent is recorded with the date and device details.

What happens if I don’t give photo consent?

Your child still takes part in the yearbook; their page just shows their initials instead of a photo.

Who can see my child’s phone number?

Phone numbers and e-mails are seen only by teachers and school management. Classmates see the name, the class and, if you allowed it, the photo.

How long is data kept?

Original photos and messages are deleted 12 months after the yearbook is delivered. When an account is deleted, it closes at once and is fully deleted after 30 days.

Is Kepyil paid for parents?

No, parents are free. Before the book is finalized the student’s seat is paid for; the organizer does this for the class, or the student does it for themselves.
